Part Time Bookkeeper


The Accountancy Office is an experienced and highly proactive firm of Chartered Management Accountants based in Evesham, Worcestershire. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper due to continued client growth.


We are a cloud based accountancy firm operating on a technology platform consisting of Xero and Receipt Bank. We have very recently been shortlisted in the Accounting Excellence awards in the “Client Service Firm of the Year” category. We’re looking for a team player who is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients.


Please note that for this role you must have previous experience with Xero accountancy software. Occasional travel to meet clients in the Evesham and Cotswolds areas is also required so a full driving license is essential.


The role will include responsibility for maintaining the accounting records for a range of clients, managing in-house Payroll services and preparing VAT returns.  Duties will include the following:

  • Processing client records on Xero
  • Processing invoices and receipts from Receipt Bank to Xero
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Reviewing client ledgers
  • Processing payroll
  • Producing VAT returns
  • Monthly/quarterly management reports
  • Regular communications and occasional meetings with clients
  • General administration tasks



15-20 hours per week.



Salary is dependent on experience. We also offer flexible working with the opportunity to work from home regularly and a workplace pension scheme.
