07 Dec The Accountancy Office wins at the UK’s Accounting Excellence Awards – Again!
This week the annual Accounting Excellence Awards 2020 celebrated the achievements of accounting firms across the UK over the past 12 months. The coveted awards are judged by some of the industry’s leading experts and recognises excellence in the accountancy profession and attract firms from all over the UK.
I was announced as being shortlisted for the national ’Sole Practitioner of the Year’ award in July this year, amongst four other finalists, which in itself was a fantastic surprise. Lockdown restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the awards evening being hosted virtually for the first time on Wednesday 2nd December and it proved to be an overall success.
To win ‘Sole Practitioner of the Year’ was a massive surprise and I’m absolutely thrilled to win such a prestigious and hotly contested accolade, especially after such a terribly challenging year, it’s such an amazing way to see out 2020.
The judges commented “this was a really impressive entry from a really impressive firm! The Accountancy Office boasts a great range of services offered to clients – thinking much wider than the traditional firm. With an outstanding NPS score, here is a firm who has ‘got it right’ for themselves and their clients”.
The Accountancy Office last won at the awards in 2018, taking home the coveted ‘Client Service of the Year’ title and in 2019 I was invited to form part of the judging panel, which was a brilliant experience. To be bring another national award to my home town of Evesham is absolutely amazing!
I’d like to thank our wonderful clients for their continued support, without them we wouldn’t be able to achieve what we do. With another award under the firm’s belt, I’m really looking forward to what 2021 may bring.
